Someone tells me my blog is mentioned in this week’s Advocate.
With my full name.
First, um, wow?
And second, aw, crap. So much for being Google-proof.

Please educate Mike “B.” about the futility of hiding his full name from Google at this point. ;-)

Uh, didn’t that article also mistakenly attribute this blog to you and Matt, when it’s pretty clearly just YOUR blog?
It’s Jeff’s blog but it has a link to Matt’s and he talks about Matt constantly.
As well he should.
Mentioned? There’s like a screen grab of your page and everything.
Not to split hairs here, but the mention starts with the word “their” and clearly calls it the blog of “Jeff [redacted] and boyfriend Matt…”
Plus Matt has his own blog. Being mentioned all the time on someone’s blog doesn’t make it theirs too.
It’s really hard to remain Google-proof forever, but if you’re really nervous about it perhaps you could talk David into changing the online version to just say “Jeff S.” — after all, Google’s results are based on web links, not what appears in print.
