Concert plug: I’m a member of the Gay Gotham Chorus, a gay men’s chorus in Manhattan, and we have a concert coming up. It’s next Saturday night, December 13, at 8:00. Come and see The Tin Man in the flesh! (Er, in a tux.) The theme is “Music From the British Isles,” and there will be lots of holiday music as well. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors. The concert is on the Upper West Side, at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, at 86th Street and West End Avenue. More information is available on the website. I hope to see some of you there.
Why? Why do the gays love the Vaughn Williams so much? Why? Why?
Actually, I guess I know why. It’s that line from the Five Mystical Songs: “You must sit down, said Love, and taste my meat.”
Precisely.
Men, straight or gay or in between, are all the same… dirty minds, all of us.
So, if we say we know you, we get in free, right?
Heh.
