  1. Awesome review as always, Tin Man. I had the same question as you about Anya, especially when the horrifying moment of Xander’s injury happened, and afterward in the hospital. Are we placing bets for spin off shows yet? My bet is Willow. Thanks again for a great review!

P.S. I agree that there must have been some kind of clause in the Firefly cast’s contracts..that’s two evil deities now…who will be next? Too bad Firefly can’t come back.

  2. Phenomenally insightful review! Your season-to-date analysis of the eye/vision theme was brilliant!

Rudely, I am curious why you omitted Judiasm from the fourth paragraph. Admittedly, you would have had to modify the wording. But the Judeo-Christian tradition is unified on the central theme in that paragraph. At least that’s what I get from rabbis and priests in one-too-many theology classes.

I like how you articulated the Buffyverse concept of redemption. Not only was it eloquent, but it clarified for me the try-fail-try-again situations the Scoobies get (or find) themselves in each season. Plus, your linking redemption with your “People are messy” theme was great!
