It arrived yesterday.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh. It’s so nice to have those old friends around again. I’d missed them.
I’ve got a question, though: why is this stuff so damn expensive? The DVD is an hour and 10 minutes long and it costs more than, say, an entire season of “Buffy.” It’s not like there are any special effects, either. (Although one guy has such amazing control of his gag reflex that it makes me wonder.)
Seriously, anyone know why this stuff costs so much?
Short answer: Because people will pay for it.
That’s true. I guess sex is such a powerful human drive that people are willing to spend more money on it than they would in other situations.
Kind of explains the resilience of the whole prostitution business, doesn’t it?
I’ve never paid for sex.
Well, regular movies don’t need fluffers. I’m sure they add up enough to significantly affect production costs.
um, I’m guesing you paid retail; like any other product, you gotta shop around – am actually curious WHERE you got it – i do a lot of shopping on eBay for used stuff – and for DVD’s you don’t risk much getting a used movie. HELL, even a new Titan movie is 69 bucks on thier site, and then i saw it on HIS VIdeo for 49 bucks, you’d think the producing site would be sheaper.
BJ, I searched around a little bit online and wound up getting it thru TLA for about $49.
oh MATT STERLING directed… often on the higher side. I sold a copy of that tape on eBay about 2 years ago. But eyah, if you find yourself in the market again, try eBay’s adult section first, but make sure its a reputable seller. Newly produced DVD’s often have more “bonues material” and might be worth that price, but that movie is 8 years old, so its just catalogue stuff sitting on a shelf.
