Neat. Reminds me of a U.S. map jigsaw puzzle I had as a kid. Ah, back when my mind was more sponge-like and had all the state capitals memorized…
I got 42 out of 50. The midwest is tough.
I did a hell of a lot better than I thought being that I normally only acknowledge both coasts. 48 out of 50 – despite being drunk and toasted all through grade school geography.
I second the “neat”. 47/50, 304 seconds. Average error 5 miles. Rhode Island is REALLY hard to place when everything around it is blank.
Well, I’m pretty pleased with my score of 88% and a 18-mile error average when you consider I’m Canadian and the furthest “south” I’ve ever been in Washington, D.C.! :)
Nick, that is hard. Problem I had is that once I placed Qatar, it colored in Bahrain, so I couldn’t figure out at the end where Bahrain went. But unfortunately I got maybe 50% right on my first try.

Damn those square states. :/
Think that was tough?
This is SO much worse . . .
