Here’s a little treat: a gay Olympic blog, by OutSports. Notes on the Athens Olympics from a gay point of view, including a continually updated sidebar of photo links. Some are yum. One of the comments: “U.S. gymnast Paul Hamm has muscles on top of his muscles, but in a post-match interview he sounded like a Munchkin.” I agree. His voice surprised me.
Plus, here’s a list of openly-gay athletes at these Olympics. There are only eight. Also, Openly gay and lesbian athletes remain rare at Olympics.
ha ha! That site is quite a good read I must admit :] You obviously like the Olympics but over here in England the coverage is pretty boring, or maybe that is just me being my 18 year old ‘athletics are boring’ self. I cant convict myself of that though as I must admit I love watching some events but the majority I don’t :/ Is it a patriotic reason for watching the olympics or just general enjoyment of it all? Fair play if it is but I’d rather be watching Football or ‘Soccer’ as you call it :]
Have you seen http://www.hotolympians.com (via Bradlands). Outsports is a great site, they did good stuff at the Gay Games in 2002.
LOVE the water polo shots…thanks
