In the experience of many gay men, the guys who seem the most preoccupied, hostile and insecure about outward appearances prove surprisingly often to be latent. Kid or no kid.
But perhaps his father already believes his son is gay, and this was just his ham-fisted way of goading his son to finally be open about it, to maybe even communicate that he’s o-kaaay with his son drinking mineral water. (Obligatory reference: “I luv my dead gay son!”)
The real question, how Christian of me would it have been to post that? Hmm… (strokes chin.) Hmm…
By the by, happen to live near enough to a Burlington Coat Factory to catch their recent “Definitely Tucked / Definitely Untucked” commercials? I think it was Burlington. Anyway, pretty hip, for whatever store it was. And the debate rages on.
