More on the Muschamp article about 2 Columbus Circle:
From Skyline Online: “The article is everything we’ve come to expect from Muschamp: vast verbiage, implausible premises, provocative assertions, and annoying stylistic tics.” (Sounds like one of my readers.) “But his mad ravings are also punctuated by moments of breathtaking brilliance.”
From Tropolism: “queer spaces are always contingent, on the edges. They flourish and disappear. They do not cling to history, but to the present, and to life.”
Interesting.
There will be more than one queer space in the place where I reside – in March 2006:

Unfortunately only temporarily – till March 2007 ..
Huntington Hardford wasn’t as straight “Skyline Online” imagines. He hung at the old Silver factory (where he undoubtedly crossed paths with Randy Borsecheidt) and claimed he was most interested in aiding Edie’s stardom. (Andy thought him “pushy.”)
In the 70’s Michel Auder (Viva’s husband) had a cable access show where he would take his video camera (a pretty new toy at that time) to all sorts of openings and parties and such, with R. Couri Hay as his MC. One extremely memorable show took place inside of Huntington Hartford’s closet where a very stoned Jerry Hall began talking to Huntington Hartford’s ties.
Wonder whatever happened to that piece of video.
*whoosh*
