  1. Right now I’m thinking either this is going to unfold and be so fucking amazing that I can hardly stand it…or, I’m going to be really embarrassed that I named my cat Starbuck.

  2. I really hope that Kara’s back and it’s not a trick or she’s a ghost or something equally stupid. But I don’t really want to it to be true that the 4 are Cylons! Not Tigh! I don’t really care about Chief, but if he is a Cylon, then his and Cally’s baby is another hybrid. As for Sam, it seems to me that the writers don’t know what to do with him, so they just threw him in with the other 3 to be a Cylon. And we have to wait until 2008 for the next season! Guess I have plenty of time rewatch the whole show!

  3. I happened to watch the Season 2 episode “Fragged” tonight on DVD — man, that one is super interesting in light of the Season 3 finale, especially the jail scene between Tigh and Tyrol with Boomer. That, of course, is also the episode where Starbuck meets Anders. I hope this is actually going somewhere cool, and they’re not just fracking with us.

  4. I just hope January 2008 won’t be Round Two of Galactica 1980. ABC destroyed the future of the original Galactica by having the crew find Earth (but it saved ABC money on the budget). As long as Starbuck is really alive and Apollo gets a little more screen time, I don’t mind a strange cliff-hanger.

  5. I tend to think the current series is entering the last one’s “White Ships” phase, maybe even with the likes of a Count Iblis. Starbuck does seem to be alive, but maybe without our present universe/dimensions. Perhaps the energy Apollo’s ship was passing through peeled back the curtain enough for them to “see” each other ? …and might allow a shortcut to Earth.

Or, if the music and cinematography is any indication, Lee is merely tripping out on the cosmic plasma/peyote.

And i’m not too worried about the four just activated cylons, regardless of their ranks. Cylons and humans have both crossed sides easily, often with exceptional new-born loyalty. So long as these human-loyal cylons keep their heads together they might pave the path to a human-cylon alliance once they reach Earth… or the respective remnants of each race.

And don’t forget Sharon’s baby, the ultimate uniter.

Here’s a recent keynote by Moore:
