(Update: In what other city but New York can you watch live TV coverage of the end of a Broadway strike?)

I’m really not trying to be rude, but I think maybe only people in New York care.
Technically speaking, Jeff, you may be correct. The 80-gazillion tourists in my way every day, who came to NYC planning to see Phantom or Les Mis or Hairspray or whatever — well, if they were in New York hoping to see a show, they certainly cared.
Your comment, however, speaks to a greater tragedy, which is the death of live theatre as an art form and a form of entertainment in Assmerkkka.
Had TV producers made a “reality TV” debacle of the strike, though, you can bet your ass an enormous percentage of this country’s fat, ignorant populace would’ve been watching.
I live in Podunkville and I second the HOORAY! Broadway isn’t limited to New York. It’s span is worldwide!
