So my next request for recommendations is: can anyone recommend a mover in NYC?
Upstairs Downstairs. I don’t have their contact information but they’ll give you a flat-rate quote before the move and that’s what they’ll charge–no more, no less. Very reassuring.

I think they’re called Rabbit Movers.
Bunch of Brooklyn hipster boys but they were cool, fun and fast.
I used Marrins. They also provided a guaranteed quote (which was lower than Moishe’s), and they were quite personable. I have to say, I think I might’ve enjoyed Eric’s Rabbit boys more, though… ;-)
Oz Moving. Flat rate and will match any price. My suggestion is you pack everything yourself, and get your own boxes. I had to move fast and ended up paying for them to pack me. I learned a valuable lesson.
