Oh boy. The California Supreme Court has announced that it’s going to issue its decision on same-sex marriage equality tomorrow, 10 a.m. California time, 1 p.m. Eastern.
I’m going to be on pins and needles.
(Here’s the official notice.)

Yeah, Jeff and I both twittered about it earlier today. I’ve got butterflies in my stomach. I have a meeting at 10, but I’ll be late to it until I’ve had a chance to learn the outcome of the opinion.
Do Courts typically only give 24 hours notice about issuing major decisions like this? It seems hardly fair, at least to the news media that might want to cover the decision.
Isn’t 24 hours enough? Most courts don’t give any advance notice that they’re going to issue a particular decision.
Just a few minutes more! I am on the EDGE of my seat.
