No, it wasn’t “small states”; it was “caucus states”. Big difference; Cult-like supporters do very well in caucus states.
Good point. But many of the caucus states were smaller states (Alaska, North Dakota, Idaho, Maine, etc.) and Clinton tended to focus on the big battleground states, leaving the smaller ones to Obama. So it was both, really.
