I was just flipping through the TV channels and came across this commercial for a 9/11 commemorative silver $20 bill. It makes me ill.

Tell me about it.
I must say a silver dollar bill is far more tasteless than the one I saw.
Yes, I saw it also. My husband and I both agreed it was a shame that someone is making money off the 9/11 tragedy. Does anyone really need a silver dollar bill to remember that day?
I’ve never understood who buys shlock like this.
Is this new, metal “bills?” I’m used to commemorative coins minted by the governments of Third World country’s, but this is the first I’ve ever seen of a silver “bill.”
It’s not just tacky, it’s stupid. What does one do with such a thing?
I was unable to sleep one night last week, and I ran across that ad while watching, maybe, something on USA. It’s totally gross, but also totally stupid. The best part is that it’s a LIBERIAN $20 bill. I do know who would buy it: The same people who go down to Ground Zero and buy trucker hats with the towers on them. In other words, idiots from Arkansas.
Ah, yes, like the couple a few years ago who asked me if I knew how to get to “Ground Hero.”
Does any one realize that the worth of this thing is only 30 cents. $20 RLD is only 30 cents US dollar. So whoever buys it gets ripped off and is an idiot!
