You know, I never met Brad in real life and probably hadn’t thought about him in years — I didn’t look him up when I had my big nostalgic moment a couple months ago when I started reading your blog again — but he represented everything that was good and right about what we were all doing back then. His passing hit me really hard. Fuck the turning of the decade or any other measure… this feels much more like an honest to goodness end of an era.
You know, when I look at that photo, I can’t help but think how great he was, and how young I looked.
Bradlands was a great read. Brad will be missed, but thanks to the theatre , the blogosphere and the internet his legacy lives on.
